Eligibility & conditions
Airwallex for Startups is a UK programme on the Airwallex multi-currency business account, covering payment acceptance, FX and corporate cards. The public tier, open to startups that have not raised funding, gives 2% cashback on the first £10,000 of eligible card spend, waived collection fees on the first £10,000 collected, free FX with no Airwallex margin on the first £10,000 converted, and a three-month waiver of selected subscription fees. Startups referred by a partner VC or accelerator get the venture-backed tier instead: 0.5% cashback on the first £120,000 of card spend, free FX and waived collection fees on £120,000, and a twelve-month subscription fee waiver. The company must be incorporated or registered in the UK and pass standard Airwallex KYC onboarding.

How to apply
5 steps- Confirm your company is incorporated or registered in the UK. Airwallex states the programme is UK-only for now and will not enrol a non-UK entity.
- Ask your VC or accelerator whether they are an Airwallex partner. If they are, request their campaign link, which places you in the venture-backed tier with a £120,000 threshold instead of £10,000.
- If you have not raised funding, or your investor is not a partner, sign up through the public tier link at https://partners.airwallex.com/i8rpv. VC-backed founders without an investor link can use https://partners.airwallex.com/njoj27. Both redirect to the Airwallex UK signup form.
- Complete Airwallex KYC onboarding with company registration details and director ID. Enrolment is not granted until Airwallex approves the account.
- Wait for enrolment confirmation by email, in-app message, or the Rewards tab in the web app. The reward period starts from that confirmation, so run your card spend and FX conversions after it arrives.
