Eligibility & conditions
Baseten runs dedicated model inference and training on GPUs for open-source, fine-tuned and custom weights. Its AI Startup Program gives accepted companies up to $25,000 in credits for Dedicated Inference or Training and up to $2,500 in credits for Model APIs. Admitted startups also get support with response times within a few business hours, which can grow to a shared Slack channel, plus invitations to Baseten events. Applications are reviewed case by case, so both figures are maximums rather than a fixed grant.

How to apply
5 steps- Check the criteria on https://www.baseten.co/startup-program/ before applying: AI must be core to your primary product, your funding stage must be Seed to Series A, the company must have started less than 5 years ago, and you must never have received Baseten credits before.
- Open https://www.baseten.co/talk-to-us/startup-program/ and complete the application form on that page using a company work email.
- Be ready to state which models and inference or training workloads you plan to run, since the program targets teams deploying their own, fine-tuned or open-source weights rather than calling a hosted API.
- Submit and wait for Baseten to reply. There is no published deadline or cohort, so applications are taken on a rolling basis.
- If accepted, confirm the exact credit split with Baseten. The $25,000 applies to Dedicated Inference or Training and the $2,500 applies to Model APIs; they are separate buckets, not one pooled balance.
