Cartesia gives accepted startups 12 months on its Scale plan at no cost, covering Sonic text to speech, Ink speech to text, and Managed Agents. The grant includes 8 million credits per month shared between Sonic and Ink, which Cartesia states as 96 million credits a year, plus a separate $299 per month in Managed Agents credits. Unused model credits roll over up to 2x the monthly allowance, and the account moves to the standard $299 per month Scale plan when the year ends. Scale lists at $299 per month on Cartesia's pricing page, so 12 months works out to about $3,588, but Cartesia publishes no dollar total for the grant itself.

How to apply
5 steps- Open https://www.cartesia.ai/startups/apply and fill in the grant form with your team, what you are building, and where you are headed. Cartesia says it takes a few minutes.
- Before submitting, check you accept the program terms: you share your logo, give Cartesia the right to use your name and logo across its marketing materials, and agree to post about the grant on your social media accounts if Cartesia requests it.
- Submit the form. Cartesia reviews applications on a rolling basis and aims to respond within a week. There is no cohort deadline.
- If accepted, apply the coupon code Cartesia emails you to your Cartesia account. That activates the 12 months of Scale credits.
- Turn on pay-as-you-go overage if you expect to pass 8M shared Sonic and Ink credits in a month. At Scale tier, overage is $38 per 1M credits. With overage off, new requests are blocked once credits run out.
