Databricks and Neon run one consolidated startup program with a single application form. The maximum is $100,000 in Databricks credits plus $100,000 in Neon credits, so $200,000 only if you apply for both; applying for one side alone caps you at $100,000. The Databricks side covers the Data Intelligence Platform including Lakeflow, Unity Catalog, Mosaic AI, Databricks SQL and the Foundation Model API, and the Neon side covers serverless Postgres, AI Gateway, Functions, Storage and Authentication. Credits are applied to a live account, so you must create the account and put a payment method on file before credits can be granted, and the Neon account must be on a paid plan.

How to apply

5 steps
  1. Create a Databricks account and a Neon account, add a credit card to each, and put the Neon account on a paid plan. Credits are only applied to live accounts with a payment method on file.
  2. Collect your Databricks Account ID (a UUID, found in the account console under your email in the top right) and your Neon Org ID (in your Neon console org settings, also visible in the browser URL).
  3. Open https://sites.google.com/databricks.com/startup-program-apply and pick which credits you want in step 1: Both ($200K), Databricks only ($100K), or Neon only ($100K).
  4. Fill in company details, funding status, total raised, primary investors, and one funding proof: an accelerator verification link, a partner code, a VC contact who can vouch, or a public link such as Crunchbase or a news article. Then write the 250-character description of what you are building.
  5. Complete the LinkedIn sign-in identity check, tick the accuracy and data-sharing consent box, and submit. Questions go to [email protected].
