Daytona sells sandboxes and compute for running AI-generated code, in the same category as E2B and Modal. Its Startup Grid program grants USD 10,000 in Daytona credits on acceptance, with further tranches at Daytona's discretion. The landing page advertises "easily up to $100K", but the program's own Terms and Conditions cap the additional tranches at an aggregate USD 50,000, so the $10,000 on acceptance is the only amount that is contractually stated. Credits must be used within 12 months of issuance, and the terms ask participants to display a "Powered by Daytona" attribution on their site or docs while using program credits.

How to apply

5 steps
  1. Check the three eligibility rules in the program terms before you start: incorporated no more than 5 years before you apply, less than USD 15 million raised in total, and fewer than 50 full-time employees.
  2. Open https://www.daytona.io/startups and fill the form: startup name, first and last name, email, website, main location, rough founding date, total funding raised, employee count, deck link, industry, and a 100-word description of the company.
  3. In the "Are you coming through one of our VC or Accelerator partners?" dropdown, pick your investor if it is listed, or choose "I don't see my partner listed" or "I am a Bootstrapped startup". There is no investor or funding floor requirement.
  4. Pick your use case (Coding Agents, Code Interpreter, AI Evaluations, Data Analysis, Computer Use, Training and Fine-tuning, OpenHands Runtime, or Other), your compute type, and your delivery model (Fully Managed, Bring Your Own Cloud, or On-Premises), tick the Terms and Conditions box, and submit.
  5. Wait for the decision. The landing page says they reply "in an hour, or a few"; the program terms say applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and target a response within 10 business days. Credits are applied to your Daytona account on acceptance. Questions go to [email protected].
