Eligibility & conditions
fal runs a Startup Program that gives credits for its generative media inference API to teams building image, video and audio products. Accepted startups start at $1,000 in credits, move to $2,500 once monthly spend on fal passes $1,000, and reach $5,000 once monthly spend passes $2,500, with the extra added on request rather than automatically. Eligibility is limited to teams based in Europe and Asia, and you need either real users, meaningful traction or revenue, or funding raised from an institutional investor. It is one program per company and one application every three months, so bootstrapped indie teams should apply to fal's separate Builder Grant instead.

How to apply
5 steps- Create a free fal account at https://fal.ai/login first, because credits are applied to an existing fal account rather than issued as a code.
- Check you qualify: your team is based in Europe or Asia, and you either have real users, meaningful traction or revenue, or you raised from an institutional investor.
- Open https://fal.ai/startup-program#apply and complete the Startup Program Application, describing your traction or funding and how you plan to use fal.
- Enter a partner referral code if one of fal's VC or ecosystem partners backs you. fal states referred applications are prioritized in review and the code carries weight in how the grant is sized.
- Take the short intro call fal schedules to size your credits, then contact fal to move to $2,500 after you cross $1,000 per month of spend on fal and to $5,000 after you cross $2,500 per month.
