How to apply
5 steps- Open https://www.gem.com/pricing#startup-pricing and find the Gem Startup Program card. The calculator defaults to 1-10 FTE on a yearly term and shows $270/mo regular against $130/mo on the program.
- Click 'Get started now'. It sends you to https://www.gem.com/login?self_serve=1 to create an account with your work email. There is no application form and no sales call under 100 employees.
- Complete the self-serve signup and set your company size honestly, since the rate and the six free months key off your FTE count.
- Before entering payment details, confirm in-app or with Gem support that the six months free is applied to your account. The checkout tier displays the $130/mo startup rate and Gem does not state anywhere that the free period applies automatically.
- If you are over 100 employees, skip the self-serve route and use https://www.gem.com/contact-sales instead, since pricing above that size is custom.
