Eligibility & conditions
LangSmith is LangChain's platform for tracing, evaluating, and deploying LLM agents. The startup program has two tiers: Build gives discounted seat pricing to first-time customers with under $10M in funding who have raised at least $25K in seed funding, and Scale gives $10,000 in LangSmith credits valid for 1 year. Scale is limited to first-time customers at Series A or earlier (up to $50M in funding) who are backed by one of LangChain's premier VC partners, and Y Combinator companies get 2 years to spend the credits instead of 1. LangChain does not publish a discount percentage for the Build tier, so the $10,000 figure applies only to Scale.

How to apply
5 steps- Pick your tier. Scale if you are a first-time customer at Series A or earlier (up to $50M in funding) and backed by a LangChain premier VC partner. Build if you are a first-time customer with under $10M in funding who has raised at least $25K in seed funding.
- Create a LangSmith account at smith.langchain.com using your startup domain email, not a personal address. The program is for first-time customers only, so do not apply on an account that already has paid usage.
- Go to https://www.langchain.com/startups, scroll to the tier cards, and click 'Apply now' under the tier you picked. Each tier opens its own Airtable form.
- Submit the form. LangChain reviews it against their selection criteria and sends a confirmation email with your benefits and activation instructions, or a notice that you did not qualify.
- Follow the activation instructions in that email. Scale credits land within a few days of applying and are good for 1 year, or 2 years if you are in Y Combinator.
