Laravel Cloud

Listed offer value

$300
Free guide

Requires AWS Activate account and a live web app

Eligibility & conditions

Laravel Cloud is a managed deployment platform built by the Laravel team, running apps on dedicated AWS EC2 with managed MySQL and Postgres, caching, object storage, WebSockets and autoscaling. Eligible AWS Activate startups get $300 in credits through the AWS Activate offers marketplace. The self-serve free tier is $5 in usage credits plus a free first month on the Starter plan, so the Activate offer is 60x what a normal signup gets. Despite the name it also deploys Next.js Nuxt and Symfony apps, not only PHP.

How to apply

5 steps
  1. Apply to AWS Activate at aws.amazon.com/startups/credits. The Founders tier is self-serve for bootstrapped or self-funded companies; the Portfolio tier needs a referral code from a partner VC or accelerator. Eligibility is pre-Series B, founded in the last 10 years, with an AWS account on a paid support plan.
  2. Once Activate approves you, sign in to that AWS account.
  3. Open https://startups.aws.com/offers/laravel-300 while signed in. Signed out, the page bounces you to an AWS login instead of showing the offer.
  4. Submit the Easy Apply form. Have a link to your live web app ready, since the stated bar is a visible business with some initial customers. If you are pre-launch, write a short description of what you are building.
  5. After approval, apply the credit to your Laravel Cloud organization, then set an org spending limit in Cloud so compute pauses instead of billing you once the $300 is used up.
