Eligibility & conditions
LiveKit is an open source framework and cloud platform for realtime voice, video and physical AI agents. The Startup Program gives approved teams one year of the Cloud Scale plan with the $500/mo fee waived ($6,000), $10,000 in additional LiveKit Cloud credits covering agent session minutes, media transfer, telephony and observability, and $7,000 in inference credits granted as $1,000 with each participating partner (AssemblyAI, Deepgram, Fish Audio, Gemma, Gradium, Inworld and Rime). Total is up to $23,000. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with no published cohort or deadline, and credits expire 12 months from the date they are issued with no rollover.

How to apply
5 steps- Check the eligibility list on https://livekit.com/startups: voice, video or physical AI core to your product, fewer than 50 employees, under $5M raised and pre-Series A, a live website with a publicly identifiable founding team, incorporated or actively incorporating, and in production or launching within 6 months. Above $5M is reviewed case by case, so apply anyway and explain the fit.
- If your company is Y Combinator backed, do not use this form. Apply at https://livekit.com/yc instead, which offers $100K in LiveKit Cloud credits for one year to active YC founders and $25K to YC alumni. The two offers cannot be combined.
- Fill in the 4-step application form at the bottom of https://livekit.com/startups. Step 1 asks for first name, last name, work email, LinkedIn and role, followed by questions about the team and what you are building. No pitch deck is required.
- Wait for LiveKit to review the application against the published criteria. Approved teams receive a promo code by email. Note that the program targets net-new projects, so existing paying or contractually committed LiveKit customers may be declined.
- Start a LiveKit Cloud Scale plan and enter the promo code at checkout. A card on file is required to enroll. Credits land on your project and expire 12 months from issuance.
