Mistral AI
Listed offer value
$108Students and teachers with a verified school email; max 12 months
Eligibility & conditions
Mistral AI's Education plan is its Pro plan for Vibe (formerly Le Chat) at $5.99 a month before tax instead of $14.99, for students and teachers who verify an email address issued by their school or university. Personal addresses such as Gmail or Outlook are not accepted, and student IDs or enrollment letters cannot replace the email check. The fine print on Mistral's pricing page says the price is valid for a maximum of 12 months, for verified students at accredited higher-education institutions who have not used Vibe or Le Chat before, so the saving tops out at about $108. It is a paid monthly subscription, not a free plan.

How to apply
5 steps- Open the Mistral Education plan page and sign up or log in with your school or university email address.
- If your Mistral account uses a personal email, change it to your institutional address first, as Mistral's student and teacher help article describes.
- Verify the institutional email. Gmail, Outlook, iCloud and other personal domains are not accepted, and student IDs or enrollment letters cannot replace the email check.
- Subscribe to the Education plan at $5.99 a month before tax instead of the $14.99 Pro price listed on the Mistral pricing page, and expect the student price to last at most 12 months.
- If your school's email domain is not recognized, contact Mistral support with the domain and ask for it to be reviewed.
