Onshape, a PTC product, gives accepted startups 5 free seats of Onshape Professional or Onshape Government, its cloud-native CAD and PDM platform. Professional is listed at $2,500 per user per year on Onshape's pricing page, so 5 seats works out to $12,500 of list value per year. Access is guaranteed for one year, and you can reapply at the end of each year with no limit as long as you still meet the requirements. Members also get 3 months of SimScale simulation, 20% off 3Dconnexion products, and access to legal and financial advisors including J.P. Morgan and Foley Hoag.

How to apply
5 steps- Check the eligibility rules at https://www.onshape.com/en/startups/faq. You must not already be an Onshape customer, and service providers and consulting companies are not eligible. The program is for startups developing their own product lines.
- Make sure your startup has a functioning website. Onshape's FAQ lists this as a requirement.
- Fill in the application form at https://www.onshape.com/en/startups/apply. If you need Onshape Government instead of Professional, say so on the application.
- Give detailed information about your funding, lifetime revenue, and any incubator you belong to. Onshape states these are the factors that decide eligibility, and that more detail improves your chances.
- Wait for the email decision, which Onshape says takes up to 5 to 7 business days. If you are declined, ask about the Discovery Program, which gives 6 months of Onshape Professional free.
