SigNoz is an open source observability platform for logs, traces and metrics, built on OpenTelemetry and positioned as a Datadog alternative. Its startup program prices SigNoz Cloud at $19 per month for the first 12 months instead of the standard $49 per month Teams plan, then moves you to standard pricing. The $19 covers $19 of telemetry usage, and anything beyond that bills at published rates of $0.30/GB for logs and traces and $0.10 per million metric samples. The full $360 saving is a ceiling, not a flat discount, because the standard $49 plan also includes $49 of usage, so you only save the full $30 per month while your usage stays at or below $19.

How to apply
5 steps- Confirm you meet all three criteria: incorporated less than 3 years ago, fewer than 30 employees, and less than $6 million raised in funding.
- Open https://signoz.io/startups/ and fill in the startup application form in the panel at the top of the page. The 'Apply Now' button lower down only scrolls back up to that same form.
- Submit the form with your work email and company details. SigNoz reviews applications and follows up by email, there is no published instant approval.
- Optionally start the 30 day SigNoz Cloud trial at https://signoz.io/teams/ first, which requires no credit card, so you can evaluate before the startup rate starts.
- After approval, check the $19 rate is applied to your workspace billing. It reverts to standard pricing after 12 months, and you can cancel at any time with no penalty.
