Eligibility & conditions
The Google for Startups Cloud Program gives early-stage companies Google Cloud credits that cover infrastructure plus Google's own models such as Gemini and Gemma. AI-first startups can receive up to $350,000 over two years, paid as 100% of spend up to $250,000 in year one and 20% up to a further $100,000 in year two. Startups on the same tier that are not AI-first get up to $200,000, and pre-funded founders without venture backing get $2,000. Google runs the program directly rather than through a reseller or accelerator, and the top tier requires venture funding from pre-seed through Series A.

How to apply
5 steps- Check that you qualify: founded within the last five years, raised pre-seed or seed within the last five years or a Series A within the last 12 months, and have not already received more than $5,000 in Google Cloud credits.
- Go to https://cloud.google.com/startup/ai and use the "Apply now for the AI program" link, which opens the AI track of the form at cloud.google.com/startup/apply?pt=AI.
- Sign in with a Google account. The application form is gated behind Google sign-in, so you cannot fill it out anonymously.
- In the form, describe how Gemini or the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform sits at the foundation of your primary product. That is the stated requirement for the $350,000 AI-first tier rather than the $200,000 standard tier.
- Submit and wait for Google Cloud to review. Approval is at Google's discretion, and approved credits land on your Cloud Billing account in two annual tranches.
